Streak Reality

Lately I have been very interested in re-searching another kind of public art. But before I move on to that and shed some more light on this new-found loose thread; I had to post about Painting Reality.

Vehicles painted a road intersection in Berlin, Germany, with 500 liters of water-based environment-friendly paint. Different colors of paint (red, yellow, purple and blue) were dumped at four corners of Rosenthaler Platz, where 2000 vehicles unknowingly and randomly painted the roads while crossing the intersection. Painting Reality is a public art project created by the anonymous crew, and led by IEPE a Dutch-born artist and founder of chess boxing. They not only painted the town red, but in many colors.

All the world's a stage, and we just mere paint brushes?
